Just Two Words... THANK YOU!

Thank you to everyone who donated towards our Big Give Christmas Campaign last week. The Campaign ended at 12 noon on Tuesday with a final total of just over £35,000. This amazing amount includes the additional match funding and Gift Aid. It is such a significant amount and will all be put to excellent use to make a real difference here in Uganda.

It is quite an interesting experience taking part in this type of intensive campaign when the power is literally on and off all day. The internet regularly fails half way through an upload and the unusual amounts of rain spoil lots of planned video clips and photos. BUT it is really worth it - your interest and practical support makes a real difference to us personally as well. A real encouragement - so THANK YOU again. We will be in touch to thank every one who donated in due course. And forgive us for the relentless barrage on social media and emails during the campaign - but it does pay off. We will be quiet now, honest - well for a short while anyway!

Meanwhile we need to seriously reduce screen time, recharge our eyes and take a long deep breath.......
